How often should my child see a paediatrician?

We recommend that children see a paediatrician for regular check-ups at the following intervals:
– Newborns to 2 years: every 2-3 months,
– 2-5 years: every 6 months,
– 6-16 years: every year

What should I expect during my baby's examination?

Our paediatrician will perform a thorough physical exam to check your baby’s overall health and development. This may include measuring your baby’s height and weight, checking their reflexes, examining their eyes, ears, and mouth, and listening to their heart and lungs. You will need to remove any clothing your child is wearing for accurate measurements.

What should I bring to my child's appointment?

Please bring your child’s vaccination card, the blue card if your child is under the age of 3 years, a list of any medications they are currently taking, and any relevant medical records.

What types of allergy tests may be performed?
